Horizon Miguel is a dancer, K-Pop dance coverist, choreographer and teacher currently based in the Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia area. A Maryland native, Horizon began formal dance training at Baltimore School for the Arts. On full-tuition Artist Scholarship from George Mason University’s School of Dance, Horizon graduated magna cum laude in Spring 2018 with a BFA in Dance and minor in Women’s/Gender Studies. While at Mason, Horizon was invited to present choreography at GMU’s 4th Women’s/Gender Studies conference “Politics of Gender and Justice: The Intersection of Identity and Disciplines.”
Upon graduating, Horizon danced in New York City and then began working with D.C. dance companies such as PrioreDance, Haus of Bambi, and Company | E. Horizon has also created the first collegiately accredited KPop Dance course at the Incheon Global Campus through Mason Korea. Currently, Horizon is a Company Artist with Company | E and teaches classes at PowerUp Dance Center.
