Amber Parks is a dancer from Baltimore, Maryland, where she began her dance training in 2002 at the age of 4 and was a competitive dancer for 10 years.
In 2016 she graduated from George Washington Carver Center for the Arts and Technology in Towson, Maryland, where she studied dance as her primary discipline. She had the privilege of studying under Maria Royals, Stephanie Powell, and Elizabeth Ahearn. She was a member of the All-County Dance Ensemble from 2014-2016 and was awarded recognition as an All-State Maryland dancer. In her graduating year, she was granted the opportunity to choreograph a piece performed by the All-County Dance Ensemble for her dedication and perseverance to the craft.
After graduation, she chose to share her passion for the art by creating and teaching within the studio. While well versed in multiple genres of dance, Amber specializes in tap, jazz and contemporary. She has taught all ages and levels at various studios. Through her teaching, she guides aspiring students in discovering proper focus of one’s capabilities along with confidence to excel in mental and personal growth. Amber celebrates herself as a very determined individual, focused on her artistic path as a passionate dancer.
